On a recent trip, I came across the NOTAM shown above and had to chuckle a bit. Well, at least they’re not planning any indecent maneuvers. Or, perhaps they mean that their maneuvers will be properly performed. Almost makes you want to fly through to find out what’s up.

Ahhh… the old TAADS manuevers. I got to take a familiarization flight on C141 doing those back in the 1990s. Was great fun (and a little stomach-churning).

Hope the C17 had a Decent Descent.
Used to start at min clean as high as ATC allowed. Touch 20 degrees nose low and pitch up to catch the clacker.
All 4 in reverse, fans and cores..
Mind the reversers all stow and if sadistic, call for the approach checklist during the ride, not before.
